ENGINEER/TECHNICAL SUPPORT ROLE

Engineer / Technical Support

 

Coeval are looking for an Engineer  / Technician to join our Scottish operation, we are looking for someone preferably based east of Glasgow and will undertake all new installation work , maintenance visits as required across Scotland and the UK .

There is also a requirement for the successful applicant to be involved in the production of equipment of our OVD systems and marine equipment which is carried out at facility in Fife.

 

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / TASKS

 

  • Installation of Electronic messaging signs,ancillary equipment as well as other bespoke systems and be unsupervised or as part of a team
  • Liaising with customers and other contractors that may be on site
  • Ensuring works are completed in accordance with the site specification, in a timely manner and to a sufficient quality level
  • Successful completion of mandatory NHSS training requirements
  • Abiltiy to adapt and carry out assembly and testing in a workshop enviroment
  • Out of hours working to support service and installation contract requirements
  • Undertake appropriate training with the addition of new equipment and systems as and when necessary, via formal and informal training, including on the job training.
  • In accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, all employees have a duty to comply with all Health and Safety Procedures and to be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimising them wherever possible.

EXPERIENCE:

 

Desirable;

  • Working outside and at heights
  • Working as part of a team and working unsupervised
  • Experience of installation of electrical equipment in an industrial environment

 

In this role, you will drive a company vehicle therefore you will have a driving licence and be based within commutable distance from the Glasgow / Edinburgh area.
